Oak Tree opposite The Roebuck
Concern has been raised by parishioners regarding the condition of the Oak Tree.
It has been inspected by the NFDC Corporate Tree Officer in August 2021. He has stated that the tree has increased armillaria activity which is contributing to its decline and lack of leaf in the crown.
Bark has also come away from the lower trunk and within the crown which is a sign of cambial death.
Structurally it does not currently pose a concern.
He will visit throughout the remainder of the year and assess the vigour if any.
