Corks Farm

Having listened to early feedback from Marchwood Parish Council and local residents, the joint-venture project team have removed the Advanced Thermal Treatment plant from the proposals for Cork’s Farm.

This is in response to concerns raised about the number of lorries accessing the site. The developing proposals will now focus on the Anaerobic Digestion (AD) plant. AD is a proven technology that produces renewable energy and modern AD plants do not have the same potential for odour as some older plants.

The joint-venture team would insist that other businesses occupying the proposed small business units have green-credentials. In addition, the team will work with the Parish Council and other interested parties to ensure an ample number of allotments are included to satisfy local needs. The green garden, orchards and footpaths would be professionally designed to the highest standards for the community to enjoy.
