Appendix A

Roebuck Wildflower Area (September 2021 Update)

Report for Marchwood Parish Council Amenities Committee meeting on 13 September 2021, by Gary Wright.

Plan

To mechanically scarify the area (approx. 100m2), sow the wildflower seed mix and rake in. It is envisaged that the boundary is fenced off to mark the area, and to provide something to attach information about the project, hopefully provided by the village schools.

When

I have provisionally pencilled in Saturday 2 October with Paul Fisher to carry out the work.

Who

  • Paul Fisher
  • Gary Wright
  • Any members of the Marchwood Conservation Volunteers who wish to be involved.
  • Any members of the Amenities Committee who wish to be involved.
  • Children from the village schools to sow the seed.

Costings

The costings are detailed below. I approached Marchwood Power who have kindly made a donation of £300 to cover the cost of this project.
