Would you like to get out a bit more for some gentle exercise and good company but aren’t sure where to start?

Why not join the first of the new Healthy Walks in Totton on Wednesday 17 April, meeting at 10.15am for a 10.30am start?

We’ll start in the Salisbury Road car park (behind the Library) and walk for no more than an hour and at your pace – we certainly won’t be going on a hike! So if you haven’t walked much lately this could be just ‘what the doctor ordered!’

Being out in the fresh air, chatting as you walk, or just enjoying the outdoors can cheer you up no end.

It can even help with medical problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure and heart conditions.

So come along and join this new group and take the opportunity to get a bit fitter, perhaps discover new areas of the town and make new friends.

Please wear good sturdy footwear and suitable outdoor clothing for the walk.
