NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council having made an order to allow for works in connection with the installation of a gas pipeline, the Secretary of State for Transport, has directed that the order shall continue in force as follows:

 
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Those parts of the following footpaths:
1. Lockerley Footpath 9 between its junction with Lockerley Footpath 23/Sherfield English Footpath 20 and its junction with Lockerley Footpath 24/Sherfield English Footpath 23.
  2. Sherfield English Footpath 27 between its junction with Doctor’s Hill and its junction with Sherfield English Footpath 28, for its entire length.
  3. Sherfield English Footpath 29 between its junction with Doctor’s Hill and its junction with Sherfield English Footpath 28, for its entire length.
4. Wellow Footpath 6 between its junction with Wellow Footpath 5a and its junction with Broadwoods Lane.
  5. Wellow Footpath 13 between its junction with Wellow Footpath 14 and its junction with Ryedown Lane, for its entire length.
6. Netley Marsh Footpath 2 between its junction with Netley Marsh Footpath 5 and its junction with Netley Marsh Footpath 22b
  7. Netley Marsh Footpath 23 between its junction with Netley Marsh Footpath 24 and its junction with Whitemoor Lane.
  8. Netley Marsh Footpath 25 between its junction with Netley Marsh Footpath 24 and its junction with Tatchbury Lane.
9. Netley Marsh Footpath 13 between its junction with Fletchwood Lane and its junction with Bourne Lane, for its entire length.
  10. Netley Marsh Footpath 26 between its junction with Fletchwood Lane and its junction with Netley Marsh Footpath 726.
11. Totton and Eling Footpath 24 between its junction with Jacob’s Gutter Lane and its junction with Trotts Lane.
 
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: There are no suitable alternatives.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 19 June 2008 until the 18 September 2008 or until completion of the works whichever is the sooner.

Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the work is being carried out.
