Whilst on my many walks around our village, I have observed that in a number of locations we are developing unsightly deposits of litter.

This problem I feel confident could be removed by the installation of additional litter bins. The locations I have identified are listed below and I would be pleased if residents could notify the Parish Council Office of any additional locations that I may have missed.

Locations Identified:

• The Bus Stop on Main Road right hand side of cemetery.
(Free standing bin)

• The Bus Stop on Main Road at entrance to Woodglade Close
(Hanging bin)

• The Bus Stop on Main Road outside Lloyd Recreation Ground the far end nearest Magazine Lane (Free standing bin)

• The Bus Stop on Main Road opposite Long Lane (Free standing bin)

• The Pubic Open Space alongside footpath between Evergreen Close and Oaklands Park (Free standing bin)

Marchwood Parish Council is continually working towards making our village a place where residents can be proud to live.
