NWR stands for ‘National Women’s Register – quite
a stuffy name for quite an un-stuffy group! We meet
in each other’s homes on the third Tuesday of
every month (apart from August).
We try to have quite
a wide-ranging programme, from wine tasting evenings,
to treasure hunts, to discussion evenings, to talks
from invited speakers.
We also have a bit of a laugh
and a chat and we seem to consume too much tea, coffee
and biscuits! We have been known to frequent the odd
pub for a meal and a drink or two (after a healthy
walk you understand!) and we also have a thriving diners’ club.
We have about 15 members from all over the village
(and beyond), and if you live in Marchwood, you will
probably know quite a few of us already.
If you fancy
coming along, we will be very pleased to see you
- just phone Hazel on 023 8086 1836 or Helen on 023
8086 3184 or log on to our website
