It’s hard to believe that we are half way through the year already and what an interesting six months it has been.
Despite bank holidays and Blood Donor sessions the Monday Healthy Activity Mornings (10am – 12), have continued to be very successful and enjoyed by many local Pre School children. Even babies enjoy the soft play that’s on offer.
Tuesday and Thursday’s Toddlers’ sessions are also continuing to provide an excellent ‘play and socializing’ opportunity for ‘little people’.
Friday nights are now ‘Dog Training’ nights. So if you have a dog who could use a little socializing or has picked up some bad habits this is the place for you. 6.30pm.
The Phoenix Country Music Club is providing excellent LIVE music on Saturday nights (usually the first Saturday of each month) where you can dance or just listen to the first class entertainment. Future dates June 7th, July 5th, Aug 2nd all starting at 7.30pm at the Village Hall.
The Tea Dances that we put on once a month are so popular we are almost over subscribed with their programme of sequence dancing and ballroom. Next one June 14th.
Another dimension of dance is the weekly Belly Dancing lessons on Tuesday afternoons 2pm – 3pm. These are very popular and quite unique (veil optional!)
