With the advent of an early summer we look forward to future events at Marchwood Village Hall.

In September we will be repeating the very successful ‘Ladies Pamper Evening’. This will take place on Wednesday, September 19th at 7pm. This year we will be showcasing:- Nail Art~ Handbags~ Shoes~ Jewellery~ Candles~ Make Up ~Chocolates~ Flower baskets ~ Reflexology and much more.

Tickets are £5.50 which includes a delicious buffet. This is a ticket only event and tickets can be purchased from the Village Hall. This event was well supported last year and was a great fun-filled evening. Don’t miss out – tickets will be limited.

If you gentlemen feel a little left out we will be holding a Wine Tasting evening later in the year on Saturday October 20th at 7pm. A cheese buffet will accompany the wine. Tickets will be sold at the Village Hall from August.

The ‘Children’s Healthy Activity Mornings’ are going well for Pre School children. They are on Monday Mornings (term time only) from 10am till 12. The children have lots of fun with the soft play etc and after healthy snacks they all go home having had a great time. No need to book – just turn up. £2 for the first child, all subsequent children are 50p (this includes refreshments).

If you fancy a turn around the dance floor pop along to the Tea Dances which are held monthly on a Saturday afternoon. The music and company are first class and at £2.50 per person, which includes refreshments, what better way to while away the afternoon? Next dates June 16th & July 14th.

The regular groups that use the Village Hall provide a vast variety of activities from Karate and Kung Fu to Stitch & Chat and ‘The Solid Silver 50+ Club’.

For children there’s Planet Kids Holiday Club, Sticky Fingers and Marchwood Tots for the little ones.

For the energetic there is Line Dancing and Aerobics.

For those who want to shed a few pounds we have Weight Watchers and Rosemary Conley.

Fancy a coffee and chat? Pop along to the Coffee Morning on Wednesday mornings.

We have Yoga, Parish Council Meetings, Brass Band, District Councillor’s Surgery and the New Forest Community Church.

If you want to book a room for a party, meeting or anything at all we can do that too. There must be something that we can interest you in!
