Lloyd Recreation Ground
A Trim Trail will be installed in the Under 12’s play area at the Lloyd Recreation Ground during the summer. The children at Marchwood Infant School were asked to choose from four differant designs by sticking stars on their favourite one. The most popular with 88 stars is the one being purchased.

Open Space
Marchwood Parish Council is now repsonsible for the maintenance of part of the open space areas at Admiralty Quay and Baytree Gardens.

No Golf
In response to residents requests, two new “NO GOLF” signs have been installed at Cork Field. We would ask all to comply.

Litter bins
New litter bins have been installed at the bus stops at Vicarage Road and in Hythe Road and this led to a marked reduction in litter at these sites.

Noticeboards
In conjunction with the Good Citizens project last year with the Junior School, one of the requests from the children was a child friendly noticeboard. This is being designed by local artist Colin Van Geffen and will be displayed in the village when completed.
