Computer Starter

Good news for any 50 year-olds and older who wish to use a computer or laptop but don’t know how. Age Concern, New Forest East, has teamed up with Applemore College to offer step by step free taster sessions that will take you through the basics, from writing letters to surfing the internet. Friendly help from Applemore staff and students as well as Age Concern volunteers is available.

What’s on offer: Each session will last for an hour and will help you develop your computer skills, hopefully allowing you, by the end, to be comfortable and fluent when using a computer! Sessions are held on Saturday 10.00am to 12 noon at Applemore College, Roman Road, Dibden Purlieu, on the following dates:

April 21st
May 5th and 19th
June 9th and 23rd
July 7th and 14th

For further information or application form please contact Jean Adams at Age Concern New Forest East on 023 8084 1199 or Cllr Ron Vango-Fisher on Tel 023 8066 7095, or why not go along and see what it is all about?
