December saw
the annual Senior Citizens Party held in Marchwood
Village Hall and we were delighted to welcome so many
guests.
The boys in each section put on some entertainment
and we were also pleased that Lionel was able to come
along to do some quizzes.
Thank you to all the parents
who provided food for the party. This year’s
party will be held on Saturday 10th December and any
senior citizens living in Marchwood are welcome to
attend, so please mark the date in your diary now.
Plant Sale - This year’s plant sale will be
held on Saturday 14th May from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm
at the Scout Hut in Lloyds Recreation ground.
The whole scout group are taking part in the Group
Environmental Award. As part of this the boys took
part in the annual RSPB Birdwatch recording the birds
that came into their garden. They will also be visiting
the New Forest Owl and Otter Sanctuary during February.
A sponsored walk is planned for March where the boys
are ‘walking up Everest’ on a hill near
Lyndhurst.

stall at the Village Centre Open Evening in December.
