Bill, Sue and Liz would
like to thank their friends and neighbours
for all the cards, flowers and messages of support
in the aftermath of Dan’s sudden death.
Nothing can truly ease the pain and loss felt but we
were moved
by the knowledge of how he had affected so many others
during his all too brief life.
Dan Ogburn worked as a shift manager in McDonalds in
Bournemouth. He grew up in Marchwood, attending both
Infant and Junior schools there before moving on to
Applemore College.
He was well known in the village, having had a paper
round and worked in Sunshine Valley takeaway and played
many hours of football for local teams. His football
career extended from Hawks cub team through Waterside
Seagulls. Dan was also a member of Cue T’s snooker
club.
His wide circle of friends has also provided support
and love
during this difficult period.
His death has cast darkness over the lives of many
people but we hope that the light of his life will
shine in our hearts in the future. |
