Marchwood Community Plan update. 
The following are the top priorities for each question that have been identified from questionnaires received up to 21st December

Most Liked:

1. Village community with a friendly feel
2. Open spaces, parks, playgrounds, rural surroundings
3. Location near forest, towns, motorway, water.
4. Local shops / Post office
5. Good public amenities/facilities
6. Good schools
7. Quiet life/peaceful
8. Health Centre/Dentist/Chemist

Least liked:

1. Too many lorries / traffic
2. Vandalism and graffiti
3. Speeding traffic
4. Litter / fly tipping
5. Lack of safe foot and cycle paths
6. Smell from the sewerage works
7. Old incinerator building
8. Traffic calming measures

Wish we had:

1. More safe footpaths
2. More policemen/police presence
3. Wider selection of shops
4. Effective traffic calming measures
5. Improved public transport / passenger rail links
6. Access to waterfront
7. Safe cycle routes
8. Youth centre

Don’t want in Marchwood:

1. More housing development
2. More lorries / traffic
3. More industrial development
4. Dibden Bay development
5. More rubbish handling facilities
6. Another power station
7. A supermarket
8. Wheely bins
